            据海外媒体罗马报道，意大利油气巨头埃尼公司日前披露，埃尼公司不久前在位于埃及西部沙漠的Meleiha租借区内发现了新的石油储量。
            埃尼公司在一份声明中表示，埃尼公司是在Rosa North 1X井中获得这个新石油发现的。
            声明说，埃尼公司计划今年在Meleiha租借区内至少钻取两口开发井，每口开发井预计将日产2000桶石油。
            埃尼公司在声明中还说，Meleiha租借区仍具有深层勘探的巨大潜力。

            Eni SpA (E) Wednesday said it has discovered new oil in the Meleiha
            Concession in the Western Desert of Egypt.
            The Italian company said in a statement the discovery was in the
            well "Rosa North 1X." The company foresees drilling at least two
            development wells in 2013, projecting each will produce 2,000
            barrels of oil per day.
            Eni also said that the Meleiha Concession still holds significant
            potential for deep exploration.
