中国石化新闻网讯 据悉，埃及每日新闻报道，埃及石化控股公司（Echem)，公司位于埃及亚历山大港投资15亿美元的丙烯项目和三个其它的化工项目的可行性研究将在2015年完成。

埃及每日新闻称，其他三个正在考虑中的项目包括两个生物乙醇装置，其中一个投资2.5亿美元，以糖蜜为原料的10万吨/年的装置，另一个是投资2.4亿美元，以稻壳为原料的10万吨/年的乙醇装置。一个投资5000万美元的4万吨/年聚氯乙烯（PVC）装置项目也在评价中。

Report: Echem studying $1.5-billion propylene project in Egypt

Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Co. (Echem) says feasibility studies for a $1.5-billion propylene project at Alexandria, Egypt, and three other chemical projects, will be completed by 2015, according to a report in Daily News Egypt.

The other projects under consideration include two bioethanol units: a $250-million, 100,000-m.t./year plant based on molasses and a $240-million, 100,000-m.t./year plant based on rice hulls. A $50-million, 40,000-m.t./year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant is also being evaluated, says Daily News Egypt.
