中国石化新闻网讯 据路透社9月29日开罗报道，国营埃及天然气控股公司（EGAS）的一名消息人士29日在开罗向采访他的路透社记者表示，法国石油巨头道达尔公司日前从埃及政府获得了一份在尼罗河三角洲勘探天然气的许可证。

这名不愿意透露姓名的消息人士对路透社记者说，中标以后的法国道达尔公司将勘探位于尼罗河三角洲的Sector 2地区。

去年12月，埃及石油总公司（EGPC）和EGAS宣布对油气钻探租借区实施一次国际招标。

France's Total wins Egypt gas exploration licence

CAIRO, Sept 29 (Reuters) - French oil company Total has been awarded a licence to explore for natural gas in the Nile Delta, a source in the state-run Egyptian Natural Gas Holding company (EGAS) said on Monday.

"France's Total won the bid to explore in Sector 2 in the Delta region," the source told Reuters on condition of anonymity.

The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and EGAS announced an international tender for oil and gas drilling concessions last December.
